Unveiled at Milan Design Week, Retta reimagines the rabbit hay feeder as a genuine piece of furniture - not something to tuck out of sight, but a quiet, confident presence that brings order and character to the room.
The squared volume is finished in natural oak, the noble wood of furniture-making, chosen for its strength and for a grain that makes every piece one of a kind. Vertical openings run down each side, lightening the form and setting its rhythm while letting light and sightlines through. A matte, water-based clear finish protects the wood without masking it - and it's non-toxic, because your rabbit lives with this object, up close, every day.
Inside is where oak meets aluminium. The hay compartment and pull-out tray hold hay and litter in one tidy space - a fixed point for the free-roaming house rabbit. Where the pet world reaches for plastic, Susy® chooses a metal that doesn't hold odours and wipes clean with water alone. The openings let your bunny hop in, feed and keep the room in view - more ways in, and never a dead end, just as instinct asks. The cover slides off in a single move for daily cleaning.
Every Retta is handmade by Italian artisans, with materials chosen to last. Choose the tray in gravel grey or olive green. An object made to stay, like the bond with the one who lives alongside it.
SUSY® DESIGN & WOOD COLLECTION
For small pets and the homes that welcome them
The materials of furniture
Surfaces in natural or walnut-stained oak; frames, canopies and trays in hand-formed, hand-coated aluminium, in place of plastic. Non-toxic water-based coatings, because your pet lives with the object directly.
Italian craftsmanship
Every piece is formed, coated and assembled by hand by local artisans, one at a time: no two are alike.
Made for their instincts
More ways in, no dead ends, the room always in view: every volume follows the natural behaviour of rabbits, cats and small dogs, free to live the home.
Personalise the colour
Trays, frames and drawers in gravel grey or olive green, to suit the style of your home.
Built to last
The wood keeps its form; the aluminium isn't troubled by moisture or daily cleaning. Materials chosen to stay with you, like the bond with your pet.
DESIGN & WOOD SUSY®
