Scocca takes its name from its shape: a curved canopy that wraps without closing, drawn around the life of a rabbit. Shown at Milan Design Week, it brings into the living room - gracefully - what usually gets hidden away.
This is where aluminium's lightness meets the solidity of wood: the hand-formed canopy floats above a natural-oak base, and the whole volume seems to hover just off the floor. A matte water-based clear finish keeps the pale oak and its grain in view, protecting the surface without weighing it down - non-toxic, because your rabbit lives with it directly.
Under the canopy, the hay compartment and pull-out aluminium tray bring hay and litter together: your bunny feeds where it rests, as it would in the wild, sheltered but never shut in, with the room always in view - a steady anchor for the free-roaming rabbit. The aluminium doesn't hold odours and wipes clean with water; for daily cleaning, the canopy lifts with ease.
Curving wood calls for dedicated craft: every Scocca is assembled by hand by Italian artisans, with materials made to last. Choose the tray in gravel grey or olive green. It surprises everyone who walks in — and becomes your rabbit's favourite spot.
SUSY® DESIGN & WOOD COLLECTION
For small pets and the homes that welcome them
The materials of furniture
Surfaces in natural or walnut-stained oak; frames, canopies and trays in hand-formed, hand-coated aluminium, in place of plastic. Non-toxic water-based coatings, because your pet lives with the object directly.
Italian craftsmanship
Every piece is formed, coated and assembled by hand by local artisans, one at a time: no two are alike.
Made for their instincts
More ways in, no dead ends, the room always in view: every volume follows the natural behaviour of rabbits, cats and small dogs, free to live the home.
Personalise the colour
Trays, frames and drawers in gravel grey or olive green, to suit the style of your home.
Built to last
The wood keeps its form; the aluminium isn't troubled by moisture or daily cleaning. Materials chosen to stay with you, like the bond with your pet.
