Scocca is born from curving wood: dedicated craft that turns oak-veneered plywood into a soft, continuous line. A sculptural object, shown at Milan Design Week.
A medium walnut stain gives the oak a warm, enveloping tone, which a matte water-based clear finish protects from everyday use without dulling the grain. Above, the curved aluminium canopy, hand-formed, shelters what happens beneath and keeps your rabbit's privacy: the dialogue between the warmth of walnut and the lightness of the metal gives Scocca its presence.
Hay and litter share the base: the hay compartment on one side, the pull-out aluminium tray on the other - a metal that doesn't hold odours and wipes clean with water. The front and sides stay open: a steady point in the free-roaming rabbit's routine, where it feeds, settles and watches the room. The canopy lifts for daily cleaning.
Every Scocca is made by Italian artisans' hands, with materials chosen to last: no piece turns out like another. Choose the tray in gravel grey or olive green. A project made to stay.
SUSY® DESIGN & WOOD COLLECTION
For small pets and the homes that welcome them
The materials of furniture
Surfaces in natural or walnut-stained oak; frames, canopies and trays in hand-formed, hand-coated aluminium, in place of plastic. Non-toxic water-based coatings, because your pet lives with the object directly.
Italian craftsmanship
Every piece is formed, coated and assembled by hand by local artisans, one at a time: no two are alike.
Made for their instincts
More ways in, no dead ends, the room always in view: every volume follows the natural behaviour of rabbits, cats and small dogs, free to live the home.
Personalise the colour
Trays, frames and drawers in gravel grey or olive green, to suit the style of your home.
Built to last
The wood keeps its form; the aluminium isn't troubled by moisture or daily cleaning. Materials chosen to stay with you, like the bond with your pet.
DESIGN & WOOD SUSY®
