Sustainability at Susy® is a structural choice, which guides every aspect of our work—from design to production, from use to impact.
Sustainability has been in Susy®'s DNA since day one.
It's a concrete vision: to create products that respect the animal, those who welcome them, and the world that hosts us all .
Our approach is sustainable by design : it means designing each object with the aim of lasting over time, reducing environmental impact and integrating harmoniously into everyday life.
OUR MATERIALS
- Recyclable: easy to dispose of correctly, without polluting;
- Reusable: re-introduced into production cycles;
- Compostable: natural materials that can be disposed of in composting processes, minimizing environmental impact and returning to the earth in a virtuous way.
All this is made possible by a short, traceable and entirely Italian zero-mile supply chain , which allows us to control every phase — from raw materials to production, right up to packaging — and significantly reduce our carbon footprint .
Producing locally also means transporting less, polluting less and enhancing the value of the land we believe in.
We are not interested in talking about sustainability as “added value”.
For us it is an original value: part of the project, part of the responsibility, part of the future we want to build.

100% natural, recyclable and certified materials
We use only natural, easily recyclable materials: from FSC®-certified honeycomb cardboard to Masters of LINEN™-certified Normandy linen. Every choice is guided by a principle of authentic and verifiable sustainability.
Plastic-Free, Seriously
From product to packaging, at Susy® we don't use plastic. Ever. Because plastic is the invisible poison that contaminates water, soil and food chains. It's designed to last forever, but is often used for just a few minutes. We've chosen a different path: natural, safe, compostable, or reusable materials that respect the planet and those who inhabit it.
Zero-mile supply chain, all Italian
We work exclusively with Italian suppliers, selected for their quality, reliability and environmental awareness. This allows us to promote the local area, support local craftsmanship and reduce our carbon footprint.
Zero waste, really
Our eco-friendly litter is made from 100% recycled wood fibers. We transform waste into useful resources, following the principles of upcycling and the circular economy.

Everything starts with the intention: to enhance the environment, not consume it. We choose natural materials, functional shapes and low-energy production processes, reducing waste right from the design stage

We work only with certified Italian partners, favoring artisanal processes that consume less energy, generate local value and preserve knowledge based on attention and care.
CONSCIOUS PACKAGING
We use only recyclable, plastic-free materials and optimized dimensions to reduce shipping space. Each package is designed to be creatively reused, transforming it into something useful or beautiful.
EXTENDED USEFUL LIFE
Our products are designed to last, providing your pet with consistency and quality. Because sustainability also means not replacing, but caring for.
RESPONSIBLE END OF LIFE
Once the product has reached the end of its useful life, it can be disposed of simply and responsibly: cardboard goes in the recycling bin; aluminum is 100% recyclable; eco-friendly litter is compostable.
